The pumpkins are put on the porch with a candle or light inside to show off the artwork carved into the pumpkins whether it’s day or night.

Another thing that people love to do is watch horror movies. Favorites such as the Halloween series, which follows the story of Michael Meyers and Laurie Strode, with the first movie being released in 1978, and the final movie being released in 2022. The movies Nightmare Before Christmas, Halloweentown, Hocus Pocus, or Beetlejuice are a few of the most popular Halloween movies that people of all ages love to watch. While Halloween is only technically one day, it is celebrated by a lot of people the whole month. Some even start putting their decorations out for the holiday in September, to get ready and in the spirit for Halloween.
