Liverpool, considered to be one of the best clubs in England, has a history with championships and rivalries that make Liverpool such a great club over the years. The premier league, champions league, the FA cup, etc. Liverpool competes in all of these tournaments and does win a good amount of times compared to all the other clubs competing.

 For example, one of my favorite memories of this club is when they took a quick corner-kick and scored easily to beat Barcelona, one of the best clubs in the world, in the second round to move on in the champions league. This was so special because Liverpool had to come back from a 4-0 defeat in the first round, which everyone clearly thought Liverpool was done for but Liverpool had proved them all wrong. Forever known as “a corner taken quickly….ORIGI” said by Darren Fletcher who commentated that match.

In addition, Liverpool have had many great players over the years, such as Fernando Torres, Steven Gerrard, Mohammed Salah, Suarez, Ian Rush, Kenny Daglish, Michael Owen, Virgil Van Dijk, etc. All of these players have made such an impact on soccer and how it is played today and some still do play today. For example Virgil Van Dijk and Mohammed Salah still play today, salah known as the “Egyptian King,” and has scored the most goals in his league for a couple years in a row now.

In conclusion, Liverpool is such a good club and has gradually progressed through the years to be at the top of the food chain for clubs. This is because Liverpool have won 19 Premier league titles, eight FA cups, six Champions league titles, three UEFA cups, four UEFA super cups, and one FIFA club world cup. Showing once again why Liverpool is one of the best of the best in world football.
